Epic Scotish Mancation: Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival

The Spring Speyside Whisky Festival is wrapping up today with a couple of new events – an archery challenge and a clay pigeon shooting challenge.  Now clearly there is nothing you and your bros need after 5 days of distillery tours than a skills challenge with some dangerous weapons (followed by a post-activity dram!).  These events will make sure your shaky hands are able to handle life back home, if you make it home.

The addition of these events might just push this event into the Bromentous Mancation Top 10.  The line up of events in this festival is just so undeniably awesome.  Tours of distilleries include Glenfiddich, Glenglassaugh, Glenfarclas, Mortlach, Macallan, Benromach, and Chivas.  Steak dinners, wood carving, bottle your own whisky and fill your own cask events, and plenty of live music round out a busy schedule (view the complete Speyside Festival Event Program or Guide).

If you didn’t make it to the spring event, you’re in luck.  The Autumn Whisky Festival will be held from Sept. 27 – Oct 1.
